Fixed

Slocomb Dental Lab team is comprised of technicians who are highly skilled in ceramics. We utilize the latest state-of-the-art CAD/CAM technology to fabricate the highest quality fixed restorative solutions, ensuring a precision fit and patient satisfaction.

Full-Contour Zirconia

Full-contour zirconia is a multi layered crown and bridge solution. These restorations are crafted out of a single zirconia block and benefit from the material’s inherent clarity and strength. Our team utilizes the latest CAD/CAM equipment to ensure that every full-contour zirconia restoration we craft offers excellent margins and contours. We also ensure that the surfaces of these restorations are smooth, which provides they are gentle on opposing, natural teeth.

Anterior Full-Contour Zirconia

If your patient is in need of a restoration that is both beautiful and strong, then our anterior full-contour zirconia is an ideal option. Crafted out of multi-layered and highly translucent zirconia, these crowns and bridges offer lifelike esthetics. Our technicians fabricate our anterior full-contour zirconia restorations to be extremely esthetic and highly durable.

Porcelain-Fused-to-Zirconia

Slocomb’s porcelain-fused-to-zirconia restorations are a great option if your patient requires extreme esthetics for the anterior. We craft these crowns and bridges through a combination of micro-layered porcelain and a durable, full-contour zirconia substructure. The porcelain benefits from the translucency of the zirconia, and PFZ crowns offer a warmer appearance than porcelain-fused-to-metal alternatives. They also offer an overall improved appearance when compared to PFMs, which may sometimes offer esthetic challenges like discoloration or dark lines along the gingiva.

IPS e.max®

IPS e.max® is the most esthetic all-ceramic option. We craft these crowns and bridges out of lithium disilicate glass-ceramic, prepared as a full-contour or cut-back and layered with porcelain. IPS e.max® is so esthetic due to its four levels of translucency. It is also 2.5 to 3 times stronger than other glass-ceramic options, making it a good option for anterior and posterior cases. IPS e.max® has additional impulse ingots for maximum flexibility. It is a reliable restorative solution that provides extreme beauty, longevity, and durability. With its high flexural strength, fracture risk is minimal, and the need for chairside adjustments is low.

Porcelain-Fused-to-Metal

Our porcelain-fused-to-metal restorations are manufactured by layering porcelain over a high-quality metal alloy substructure. Our expert technicians craft these exceptional solutions in-house at our laboratory. The porcelain and metal are skillfully bonded to eliminate any chance of unesthetic discoloration. These restorations are highly durable due to their underlying metal alloys. They are also highly esthetic due to the porcelain overlay. PFMS are gentle on opposing dentition and can be used for bruxing patients.

Full Cast

Our full cast crowns and bridges are trustworthy solutions. These restorations are a long-lasting industry standard due to their high clinical success rates. Our team fabricates them with lifelike contours and great attention to detail in-house at our dental laboratory. They are biocompatible and are extremely gentle on opposing dentition. Our full cast restorations have withstood the test of time and still remain a popular choice. Full cast restorations are durable but remain gentle on opposing dentition, which makes these an excellent option for bruxers.
